Submissions should include the following:

Performances:

  • June 9, 10, 16, 2012 in Palo Alto, San Francisco, and Oakland, California

Forces:

  • a semi-professional chamber choir, 24-voices. 1-8 parts
  • a cappella or including easy percussion parts which can be performed by one or more singers, while they are singing

Length:

  • 1-5 minutes

Text/Language:

  • any language(s) acceptable, however please provide
    1. a pronunciation guide (except for works in German, French, Italian, Latin, Spanish)
    2. facing line-by-line English translation
    3. permission of the author(s) if applicable

Honorarium:

  • $100 to as many as 3 composers whose works are chosen

Miscellaneous:

  • A composer may submit up to three works
  • Preference will be given to works not yet performed (and only those will be eligible for the honorarium).

DEADLINE:

  • postmark March 1, 2012
  • Composer's name and complete contact information on each score

Please include:

  • Composer's name and complete contact information on each score
  • A self-addressed, stamped envelope, if you wish the score(s) to be returned
  • A note about whether (and where) the work(s) have been performed.
  • No fax or email submissions accepted. No bindings please!
