Volunteer
San Francisco Choral Artists seeks a social media intern to manage and write posts for its Twitter and
Facebook accounts and to assist with managing and updating its YouTube page. This is a great opportunity for students looking to build careers in arts marketing or to learn more about the behind-the-scenes aspects of the classical music industry.
Qualifications
~Fluency with and passion for social media
~Knowledge of choral singing and new music
~Excellent writing skills
Details
~This is an unpaid internship
~approx. 6 month commitment (2012-13 season ends mids June)
~This position averages 1-3 hours/week
~Work from home
~Attendence at one concert per set (3 total) required
We are also frequently in need of volunteers to assist at performances – staffing the box office, selling merchandise and CDs, and helping with the post-concert reception. In addition, we sometimes need help with mailings and special projects, and we can usually find a way to put willing hands to work!
