Celebrating the season with gems from the British Isles and featuring dramatic readings from Dylan Thomas’ iconic and beloved A Child’s Christmas in Wales. From Medieval songs to beloved Irish, Scottish, and Welsh hymns to works by Byrd, Tavener, Howells, Vaughan Williams, Martin Dalby, John Paynter, to world premieres by Composers-in- and Not-in-Residence John Kelley and Shawn Crouch.

Actor Spencer TeddySpecial guest actor Teddy Spencer will join SFCA for all three Tales from Wales concert events. Mr. Spencer’s regional credits include: Assassins, Clybourne Park, Raisin in the Sun (Milwaukee Rep), Henry IV, Cabaret (Dallas Theater Center), 4000 Miles (Capital Stage), Sense & Sensibility(Sacramento Theatre Company), As You Like It, Romeo & Juliet (Marin Shakespeare Company), Twelfth Night(Theater at Monmouth), Arms & the Man (Ten Chimneys), Comedy of Errors, Winter’s Tale (Texas Shakespeare Festival), and Othello (Arabian Shakespeare Festival). This spring, Teddy will perform the World Premiere of William Shakespeare’s Long Lost 1st Play (abridged) at the Folger Shakespeare Theatre in DC. Teddy holds a BA in both Musical Theatre and Psychology from CSU, Chico, and an MFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University. He is a Company Member with Arabian Shakes and SF PlayGround, and teaches with Berkeley Rep and Cal Shakes.
